How would their church fare if someone judged it solely on the sinners and not on what was being taught?kmerianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11096693234053975595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14189960.post-50685275540882266672009-05-18T10:10:00.000-05:002009-05-18T10:10:00.000-05:00Great post! It's funny you mention "I have seen a new slant to the postings of some here in this forum, that the actual beliefs of the RCC does not matter, but that what matters is the "fruits" of Catholics." My brother & sister in-law (part of Ray Comfort's ministry) have expressed that same thing, I quote what they said to me in a recent dialogue:

"I have yet to come across a Catholic who is living in holiness and is passionately thankful for the cross of Calvary. Most live their lives that are pleasing to themselves with no idea what God requires of them on a daily basis."

and

"The Book of first John says that to obey God's commands are not a burden. That is another sweet confirmation that I have been born again because I have desire to hate sin and passion to do what God wants. With all due respect I do not see that in Catholic's lives that I am close too, my neighbors, Mark's brothers etc."

Again both of them talk about those "fruits" of Catholics. That is more important to them than actually learning about the correct Dogmas of the Church.

I really liked the illustration you used in this post.Spence Ohanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11555037053211287265noreply@blogger.com
